COMMENTS:  A neighbor's hydrangeas are always so beautiful in the summer time with the blues and pinks in the large blooms. For this painting I selected large flower heads that had not fully opened yet so that there is a contrast between the smooth petals and the tiny little buds. You'll find a variety of blues, purples, and red violets in this canvas painting.

The painting is done on a wrapped canvas with the edges painted and no staples showing so that you can display it with or without a frame. The small size also enables you to display the painting on a shelf of a bookcase.
